It’s an earlier than usual start for the Texas Rangers today. The Washington Nationals have their annual charity gala tonight, which is why first pitch is at noon local time here.

Manager Ron Washington is going with his typical lineup with Robinson Chirinos getting the nod at catcher. He said Shin-Soo Choo is having no issues with his left ankle and could start all three games in left field.

Choo is struggling at the plate, though, as he’s batting .194 over his last eight games. He has been hitless in three of the past four games, as well.
