More than $20,000 in electronics stolen at Keller ISD’s Indian Springs Middle School

Keller Police are investigating an incident involving more than $23,000 in stolen electronics from Indian Springs Middle School.

According to the police report at least 200 items were stolen, including 181 iPods, 16 iPads, two chargers and a laptop computer.

Security officers at the school discovered the items were missing when they returned to the campus during the week, Keller police Captain Brenda Slovak said. The theft occurred between May 7 and May 12, according to the report.

“We’ve been in contact with the security department and are still investigating this incident,” Slovak said.

No suspect has been identified and Slovak said more information will be available after further investigation.
