DETROIT — Rougned Odor went 4 for 5 with two triples and five RBIs on Saturday, and Nick Martinez earned the first win of his career as the Rangers ripped the Tigers 12-2.Adrian Beltre and Donnie Murphy homered for the Rangers, who had a season-high 19 hits.The Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the second on a two-out double by Rajai Davis, but the Rangers struck for four two-out runs in the fourth. Chris Gimenez started the scoring with a double off the right-field wall that scored Beltre from first.Leonys Martin followed with a single to center to plate Gimenez, and after Murphy walked, Odor laced a triple into the right-field corner for two more runs.Beltre added his fifth homer of the season in the fifth, a towering two-out shot down the left-field line.By that time, Martinez had recorded seven straight. But his biggest out came with two outs in the fifth with runners at first and second. Martinez threw three straight balls to Torii Hunter, but got the veteran to bounce into an inning-ending force out with Miguel Cabrera waiting on deck.Moments later, Martin started the sixth with a sharp single and Murphy followed with his second homer of the season to make it 7-1. Later in the inning, Mitch Moreland was credit with an RBI double on a deep drive that Austin Jackson couldn’t handle at the wall in left-center.Martinez pulled another escape act in the Tigers’ sixth after they had collected three straight singles to left to load the bases with one out. Nick Castellanos followed with another liner, but second baseman Odor caught it and flipped to first for, after a successful challenge, an inning-ending double play.Odor tacked on a bases-loaded triple in the seventh and added a double and a run scored in the ninth on Michael Choice’s double.
