The UT System Board of Regents chairman has urged fellow regent Wallace Hall to resign in the face of Texas House impeachment maneuvers, saying Hall’s opposition to the campus president is disruptive and excessive.

The Star-Telegram Editorial Board, citing criteria more descriptive than specific, has called for Hall to resign.

Those who are critical of Hall’s vigilance should consider one question if they have not already done so: What if he’s right?
