Congress voted to start an eighth inquiry into the Benghazi attack. Petty politics at its most small minded. Don’t they have enough to do?

Work on balancing the budget, pass immigration reform, or work to control climate change. Try doing something positive for the U.S.

While Benghazi was a blunder, it doesn’t compare to Bush’s blunder of invading Iraq.

Benghazi caused four dead patriots while the Iraq invasion caused 4,400 dead patriots.

The search for truth in the now bizarre, twisted, spun story of Benghazi has finally gone to another level, a long overdue level.

After 20 months of evasion, redactions, stonewalling, Congress is finally seriously pursuing the truth. However like Diogenes, the select committee will be left with a lantern in the dark looking for an honest man.

Don’t expect to find one in the White House.

The Democrats in Congress have threatened to boycott the committee. Of course, they can proclaim a partisan witch hunt. However, on the off chance that honest man is illuminated in the dark, the Democrats will appear to be little more than the rear guard for the gang that couldn’t talk straight.

A dead ambassador and three dead defenders of freedom, “What difference does it make?” to paraphrase another famous Democrat.

— Charles Andrews, Fort Worth
