Keller public school officials have warned parents about a possible attempted abduction Tuesday of a student walking home from Caprock Elementary School.

According to a letter, a parent reported that her son was approached by a stranger as the child walked near the intersection of Hollow Valley Drive and Timberland Boulevard.

“The man slowed down and told the child that his mom was sick and that he should get in the car with him,” the letter stated. “The child ran from the car and the car did not follow him.”

The man was described as a white male in his 20s who drove a black or blue four-door car.

Police were notified. People with questions may call school officials at 817-744-3050.
