Flick & Float

Head to Hawaiian Falls water park for Flick & Float from 2-5 p.m. Watch “Teen Beach Movie” and check out the vendor booths. Concession booths will be open. Admission is free! The water park is located at 490 Heritage Parkway.

Farmers market

The Mansfield Farmers Market will be open from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at 206 Smith St. Check out locally-grown produce, farm-raised meats, jams, jellies, local honey, plants, cut flowers, handmade soap, fresh bakery items, arts and crafts and more. Free parking.

Nature program

See the Mammals of Oliver Nature Park from 1-2 p.m. The program is $5 per child or $3 with a Mansfield Activities Center card. Registration required; go to olivernaturepark.com. Oliver Nature Park is located at 1650 Matlock Road.

Early release

Students in the Mansfield school district will have early release. Elementary school students will attend from 8 a.m.-noon, intermediate students from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., middle school from 8:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. and high school from 7:25-11:25 a.m. For more information, go to www.mansfieldisd.org.
