Five area players nominated for U.S. Army All-American Bowl

Quarterbacks Ryan Agnew (Southlake Carroll) and Jarett Stidham (Stephenville), offensive linemen Maea Teuhema (Keller) and Patrick Vahe (Euless Trinity) and wide receiver Ryan Newsome (Aledo) are among the 52 Texas players nominated today for the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Nationwide, approximately 400 players were nominated and 90 will be chosen throughout the fall.

The 14th annual game is January 3, 2015 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, and will be televised live on NBC.
