Mother’s Day craft party

Preschoolers age 2-5 can make a craft and enjoy a tasty treat from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Mansfield Activities Center, 106 S. Wisteria St. Cost is $5 per child or $4 with a MAC card. Parents are free, but required to attend and participate. Spaces are limited; advance registration required. For more info, go to www.mansfieldparks.com.

Election day

Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. for City Council and school board elections.

Tennis play day

Ages 10 and younger can try their hands at tennis during Tennis Play Day at Apex Indoor Sports, 1741 Commerce Drive. Cost is $10. Hosted by Mansfield Area Tennis Association. For more information, contact tgibbs@mansfieldareatennisassociation.com.

Dance music

Head to Hawaiian Falls water park for Flick & Float from 2-5 p.m. Watch “Teen Beach Movie” and check out the vendor booths. Concession booths will be open. Admission is free! The water park is located at 490 Heritage Parkway.
