When: The college shootout is Monday. The Pro-Am is Wednesday. Tournament rounds are Thursday-Sunday.

Tickets: Daily tickets are $25. Weekly tickets are $75 (good Wednesday-Sunday). Children under 17 and active military personnel are admitted free. For more ticket information, visit www.ntshootout.com.

TV: Thursday-Friday rounds (Golf Channel, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.). Saturday-Sunday rounds (Golf Channel, 2-5 p.m.)

The top players from the LPGA Tour will be in Dallas-Fort Worth for the North Texas LPGA Shootout, starting Thursday at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving.

The $1.3 million event will feature 99 of the world’s top 100 golfers, including Fort Worth residents Angela Stanford and Gerina Piller.

Also in the field will be defending champion Inbee Park, the world’s top-ranked female golfer.

The tournament will feature a shootout format that cuts the field to the top 70 players after 36 holes and another cut that trims the list of competitors to 50 for Sunday’s final round.

Two spots in Thursday’s opening round are reserved for high school qualifiers (Annika Clark, Maddie Szeryk), with two more set aside for the top two finishers in Monday’s college qualifier at the 6,410-yard, par-71 course in Irving.

Below is a look at 10 notable golfers who have committed to compete in Irving:

Angela Stanford: The Fort Worth resident and former TCU standout finished second at the LPGA Lotte Championship, April 19 in Hawaii. Stanford, a Saginaw Boswell graduate, has five career victories and has earned $8,368,931 as an LPGA Tour competitor. She has three top-10 finishes this season and is No. 14 in the women’s world golf rankings.

Gerina Piller: The Fort Worth resident has three top-10 finishes this season and tied for 11th at the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship, the season’s first major. Piller, a member of the 2013 U.S. Solheim Cup team, played college golf at UT El Paso and is No. 28 in the women’s world golf rankings. She has earned $1,121,073 in her LPGA Tour career.

Inbee Park: The world’s top-ranked female golfer is the defending champion in Irving. Park has nine career victories as an LPGA Tour competitor, with five top-10 finishes this season. She has topped the $8.1 million mark in career earnings and finished third at the LPGA Lotte Championship.

Brittany Lang: The McKinney resident competed on the 2013 U.S. Solheim Cup team and is a newlywed. She and husband Kevin Spann were married on Jan. 11. Lang, a native Texan, played college golf at Duke and has earned $4,102,395 in her LPGA Tour career. Her lone tour victory came at the 2012 Manulife LPGA Financial Classic.

Stacy Lewis: The No. 3 player in the women’s world golf rankings grew up in The Woodlands and earned 2012 LPGA Player of the Year honors. She has eight career triumphs in tour events and more than $6.5 million in career earnings. Lewis wore a back brace for 18 hours per day as a youth to correct curvature in her spine from scoliosis.

Paula Creamer: The No. 9 player in the women’s world golf rankings won the HSBC Women’s Champions event March 2 in Singapore. It marked Creamer’s 10th career triumph on the LPGA Tour, including the 2010 U.S. Women’s Open. She has topped the $10.8 million mark in career earnings, including $404,671 this season.

Cristi Kerr: Kerr owns her own wine label (Curvature) and has 16 career victories as an LPGA Tour competitor, including two majors. She finished fourth in the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship, the season’s first major, and has topped the $15.3 million mark in career earnings. Kerr is the No. 11 player in the women’s world golf rankings.

Michelle Wie: The former teen prodigy won her first event of the season, and third of her LPGA Tour career, at the LPGA Lotte Championship. Wie, runner-up at the season’s first major (Kraft Nabisco Championship), has earned $616,555 this season and is on pace for a career year. She is No. 13 in the women’s world rankings.

Lexi Thompson: A rising star, she collected her first major title April 6 at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, her fourth career victory on the LPGA Tour. Thompson, 19, is the No. 6 player in the women’s world golf rankings. Her older brother, Nicholas, has competed on the PGA Tour. Thompson has $2,309,015 in career earnings.

Morgan Pressel: A four-time member of U.S. Solheim Cup teams, Pressel is No. 33 in the women’s world golf rankings. She has two top-10 finishes this season and has earned $5,361,373 in her LPGA Tour career, with two victories. Pressel tied for 11th at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the season’s first major.
