Concerns about Perry

I encourage your readers to consider two articles in the “Tarrant & Texas” section of Sunday’s paper.

On page 2, a statewide ban on texting is derided by Gov. Rick Perry as being a misguided attempt to micromanage adult behavior — a position shared by gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott.

On page 6, we read that Perry has been thwarted in his effort to have his crony and favored candidate named president of Texas A&M University. Perry no doubt considers himself the most important A&M graduate currently alive, a view not shared by this Aggie (class of ’76).

In November we may see the coronation of the heir apparent — a process called an “election” — and it will be four more years of this arrogance.
