Spurs at Mavericks

3:30 p.m. Saturday, American Airlines Center, Dallas

TV: KTXA/21, TNT   Radio: ESPN/103.3 FM, KFLC/1270 AM (Sp.)

Series: Tied 1-1

About the Spurs: The Spurs believe if they could have held their turnovers to a reasonable number in Game 2, they would be up 2-0 in this best-of-seven series. After averaging 14.3 turnovers per game in the regular season, they committed 24 in Game 2, which led to 33 points for the Mavs. ... The Spurs shot 50 percent from the field in Game 2, and also made 10 of 20 3-pointers. In the first two games, Manu Ginobili has 44 points, making 13 of 22 shots, including 8 of 12 3-pointers. He also has 10 turnovers. ... Danny Green, normally a Mavs tormentor, has six points on 2 of 7 shots. ... Forward Kawhi Leonard has 17 points (on 16 shots) and 15 rebounds through two games but hasn’t been a big factor. ... Tim Duncan, who turned 38 on Friday, has made 16 of 25 shots, scored 38 points and pulled in 14 rebounds. ... Tony Parker has 33 points and nine assists. ... The Spurs were an NBA-best 30-11 on the road this season.

About the Mavs: If not for a cold spell late in Game 1, the Mavs could be thinking sweep. They led 81-71 with 7:45 remaining but made just 1 of their final 13 shots as the Spurs ended the game on a 19-4 run. ... The Mavs’ win in Game 2 snapped a 10-game losing streak to the Spurs, dating to March 2012. ... Monta Ellis (21 points, three steals), Shawn Marion (20 points, three steals) and Devin Harris (18 points, five assists) led the way for the Mavs. ... The Mavs are 5-5 in their past 10 home games and lost both at home this season to the Spurs.
