Sweep nets 33 fugitives suspected of family violence in the DFW area

Law enforcement officials swept through North Texas last week to find 33 people suspected of brutalizing family members or people they dated.

Most were arrested in Tarrant County, and two arrests were made in Denton County and one in Dallas County based on information from Tarrant County warrants, according to the Texas attorney general’s office. The arrests were made between April 7 and 11, the office said.

Those arrested in the warrant sweep are: Deric Merriwether, 25; Anthony Bell, 32: Toney Walker, 44; Michael Wade, 43; Tony Moody, 30; Nolan Johnson, 26; Christopher Gailes, 29; Jorge Salazar, 25; Hayden Pennington, 32; Ben Liserio, 34; Anthony Purvey, 26; Emmauel McClarty, 29; Charles Kinder, 41; Ian Garcia-Perez, 20; James Johnson, 47; Matthew Hernandez, 46; Willie Dean, 23; Victor Ramirez, 28; Donte Allen, 34; Anthony Workman, 36; Mohamed Sunbul, 26; Sergio Canales, 28; Jonathan Scott, 31; David Molina, 41; Robert Ward, 45; Terry Gardner, 54; Jonathan Westmoreland, 23; Adrien King, 34; David Sandoval, 44; Christopher Anderson, 24; Jay Jacobs, 25; Phillip Long, 33; and Ronald Stringfellow, 47.
