The TCU Horned Frogs had their seven-game winning streak snapped Saturday after splitting a doubleheader with the Kansas Jayhawks at Hoglund Ballpark

The Frogs (22-13, 7-5 Big 12) won their seventh straight game with a 3-1 victory to open the day, but lost 5-1 in the second game.

In Game 1, Preston Morrison (4-3) turned in his second straight strong start, allowing just one run on four hits in 8 1/3 innings. The junior struck out seven and did not walk a batter.

Sophomore outfielder Boomer White was 2 for 4 with an RBI to lead the TCU offense.

In Game 2, the Horned Frogs were held to just five hits. Alex Young (1-3) allowed four runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out three and walked one.
