It is sort of amazing that Lon Burnam has decided to challenge the results of the Texas House District 90 primary election.

Burnam feels there were early voting and vote-by-mail irregularities. In the Star-Telegram article he said: “Part of my goal with this lawsuit is to root out these illegal operations before they become entrenched. Everyone, candidates and consultants, must play by the rules. Otherwise, they make a sham of the democratic process, and I cannot and will not accept that.”

I guess I missed the outrage from him and other Democrat Party leaders when in 2012 Wendy Davis won 97 percent of the votes in 11 of the 349 precincts in Senate District 10.

Yes, that was 97 percent!

I don’t think Lon should worry too much about this practice becoming entrenched. It looks like the trench in the Democrat Party is pretty deep already.

Watch out all you Texans. With the help of the Obama election machine Battleground Texas, they may be digging the trench even wider and deeper.
