Report: A&M QB Kenny Hill arrested on public intoxication charge

Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill, a 19-year-old sophomore from Southlake, was was arrested on a public intoxication charge before dawn Friday, The Eagle of Bryan-College Station reported. Hill was passed out in front of the restaurant when officers arrived just before 3 a.m., according to College Station police reports.

Hill, who guided Southlake Carroll to a 5A state championship in 2011, entered spring practice in the mix to succeed Johnny Manziel as the Aggies’ starting quarterback.

Public intoxication is a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine, The Eagle reported.
