Texas football coach Charlie Strong will take part in an 11-stop barnstorming tour of cities within the Lone Star State following the completion of spring drills, with the first stop set for April 21 in Fort Worth.

Dubbed the “Comin’ On Strong” tour, Strong and other Texas officials will make stops in Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Tyler, Corpus Christi and five other locations to allow fans to interact with the Longhorns’ new coach. Special guests at selection stops included school president Bill Powers, men’s athletic director Steve Patterson, women’s athletic director Chris Plonsky, former letterwinners and notable alumni.

The April 21 stop in Fort Worth will be held at Joe T. Garcia’s Restaurant from 6-8 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults and $8 for youth, which includes food and souvenirs. The Dallas session will be April 22 at Union Station, 6-8 p.m. Texas’ spring game is set for April 19 in Austin.
