The Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes the International Porcelain Artists and Teachers’ (IPAT) “Art of the Egg” exhibition to the Grand Gallery.

The free exhibit runs through April 29.

“Art of the Egg” features pieces of painted porcelain with an egg and springtime theme.

Displaying many painted pieces by artists from all over the world, the artistry of the porcelain process will be detailed. Visitors will be encouraged to paint their own piece of china.

The exhibition is a collection of works by the IPAT organization, which was founded in 1958 in Dallas by a small group of porcelain art teachers. Since that time, the organization has been focused on stimulating international interest and appreciation for porcelain art.

The “Art of the Egg” exhibition will be open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday- Friday, 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.

The Grand Gallery is located in the Grapevine CVB Headquarters and Museum Complex at 636 S. Main St. As part of the exhibit, guests are encouraged to attend the Food For Thought Gallery Talk on March 26.
