Rollover wreck clogged traffic on westbound I-20 in Arlington

Traffic on westbound Interstate 20 in Arlington was brought to a standstill Wednesday afternoon as crews cleared a single-vehicle wreck that sent one person to the hospital by helicopter ambulance, according to public safety dispatchers.

The rollover wreck was reported about 4 p.m. near the ramp from southbound Texas 360 to westbound I-20.

One person was extricated from the wreckage.

The traffic jam started to unwind after the wreckage was cleared around 7:30 p.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation website. No other details were available.
