The Mansfield school district is still cleaning up from December’s snowy weather.

At the Feb. 25 school board meeting, trustees adjusted the district calendar to accommodate another bad weather day without infringing on summer vacation.

Trustees decided to change Thursday, April 17, from an early release/staff development day to a full day to make up one of the district’s bad weather days. Friday, April 18, will remain a school holiday.

Trustees moved the early release/staff development day to Friday, June 6, which was originally the district’s second bad weather make-up day.

To allow for the half day, the district moved Summit High School’s graduation back an hour to 3 p.m. June 6 and Mansfield High School’s graduation to 8 p.m. June 6.

The district made up the other foul weather day Feb. 17.
