TCU women’s basketball coach Jeff Mittie said he wasn’t as concerned with the Horned Frogs’ 69-46 loss to No. 5 Baylor on Saturday as he was with how his team would play after it.He won’t have to wait long to find out. TCU (15-12, 6-9 Big 12) visits Texas (17-10, 8-7) Tuesday with the Longhorns on a three-game skid. The Horned Frogs’ best win so far through the Big 12 slate was a 54-48 victory over Texas on Jan. 19, taking down the Longhorns for the first time in 34 career meetings between the schools.Repeating won’t be easy. Despite their recent struggles, Texas is 12-2 at home with their only losses being to then sixth-ranked Stanford and then seventh-ranked Baylor. The Longhorns also lead the Big 12 in 3-point percentage at .365, and rank second in field-goal percentage (.442) and assists per game with 15.7.TCU junior forward Chelsea Prince has been the Horned Frogs’ most improved player through conference play, coming off a 12-point, 10-rebound performance against Baylor.
