KELLER — Fort Worth Trimble Tech won its 15th consecutive game and advanced to the Class 4A regional quarterfinals with a 67-56 victory over Birdville at Keller Central High School on Friday.The Bulldogs (25-6) took charge midway through the first quarter and led by as many as 18 in the fourth. Quavon Parks led the way with 19 points. Spencer Franklin added 15, and Rayvyon Parks had 11. Fred Sample came off the bench to provide 12.“We pushed the ball, made good passes and played as a team,” Franklin said. “We’re bonding more. As we advance, we’re bonding more every game.”Birdville (18-10) opened on an 8-2 run sparked by a pair of 3-pointers from Andrew Sorrells, but Trimble Tech answered with an 11-0 run highlighted by Parks’ consecutive 3-pointers.“They shot the ball really well tonight. We would get something going and they would hit a 3,” Birdville coach Jeff Fitch said. “They’re a very good basketball team. They’re going to be a tough out.”Trimble Tech will meet Everman, which defeated Denton Guyer on Friday, in the regional quarterfinals.
