Mavericks at 76ers

6 p.m. Friday, Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia

TV: FSSW

Radio: ESPN/103.3 FM, KFLC/1270 AM (Spanish)

Records: Mavs 32-23, 76ers 15-40

About the Mavs: This opens a three-game road trip that also includes dates Saturday against the Detroit Pistons and Monday against the New York Knicks. ... The Mavs have won six of their past eight overall and are looking for a season sweep of the Sixers after beating them 97-94 on Nov. 18 in Dallas. ... The Mavs are coming off Tuesday’s 117-106 home loss to the two-time defending champion Miami Heat. ... That loss pushed the Mavs from sixth to eighth in the Western Conference playoff standings. The Mavs are tied with Memphis in the loss column for the final playoff spot.

About the 76ers: They made two deals by Thursday’s trade deadline that involved two starters. The Sixers shipped center Spencer Hawes to Cleveland for forward Earl Clark and a pair of second-round picks. Philly also traded its leading scorer, fourth-year forward Evan Turner, to Indiana for former All-Star Danny Granger. ... The Sixers are on a nine-game losing streak. ... Philadelphia owns the second-worst record in the NBA and is just 8-19 at home and 5-17 against the West. ... With Turner gone, forward Thaddeus Young leads the Sixers in scoring with an average of 17.1 points.
