Jurickson Profar suffered a setback Monday, the day he began a throwing program to recover from right shoulder tendinitis.Profar will not throw for at least another week now, and will also be limited in swinging the bat for the next few days.General manager Jon Daniels said the realistic timeline for Profar to play second base in Cactus League games is the second or third week in March. Another setback for Profar would likely ruin his chances to be ready by Opening Day, Daniels said.Profar, 21, suffered the injury while he was lifting during the off-season at his home in Curacao. The Rangers are not looking externally for possible replacements and are comfortable with the options coming to camp. Those include Adam Rosales, Brent Lillibridge, Kensuke Tanaka and Josh Wilson.Rougned Odor, one of the team’s top prospects, will also be in big-league camp, but manager Ron Washington said Odor is expected to play every day in the minor leagues to start the season. In other injury news, Matt Harrison came down with a stiff neck and is not expected to throw as scheduled Wednesday. The team is being “overly cautious” in that decision.
