FORT WORTH — The boys and girls regional high school basketball tournaments scheduled this month and next will be played at Texas Christian University because of water damage caused by an accidental flood at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center, 5101 C.A. Roberson, officials said.The pool in the activity center overflowed as a result of a malfunctioning switch or pump, Fort Worth school district spokesman Clint Bond said. School officials are assessing the extent of the damage.The tournaments are scheduled to take place at TCU’s Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, 2900 Stadium Drive. The girls UIL regional tournament is at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Feb. 21, and 7 p.m. on Feb. 22. The boys regional is 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Feb. 28, and 1 p.m. on March 1.Wilkerson-Greines has been the site of the Class 5A girls and boys basketball regionals since 2009.
