The 2014 Winter Olympics begin Thursday, bringing 16 days of triumph, heartbreak and patriotism. Whether you plan to watch by yourself or with friends and family, you can get into the competitive spirit by playing Winter Olympics-themed bingo.

The game is designed to be played throughout TV coverage of the Games. If you see or hear an occurrence listed on the card, mark it. Download as many bingo cards as you’d like. Play by yourself, or gather family and friends together and make it competitive.

You get “bingo” by filling in consecutive squares across, down or diagonally on the board, or filling in four corners. Or, if you’re in it for the long haul, keep the card through the Games and play “blackout.” First person to cover the card wins the gold medal!
