Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman vs. Broncos receivers: Sherman said last week that he will cover the left side of the field instead of shadowing the Broncos’ top receiver, Demaryius Thomas, who had 92 catches for 1,430 yards and 14 touchdowns during the regular season. That means the All-Pro corner will draw Thomas, Eric Decker and Wes Welker. Sherman defensed 57 passes, and quarterbacks had only a 47.3 passer rating against him, according to Pro Football Focus. Both numbers led the league.
