Mansfield Cares hosts the annual charity ball, starting at 7:30 p.m. at Walnut Creek Country Club, 1188 Country Club Drive. The greatest disco band in the world, Le Freak, will perform, plus there will be live and silent auctions and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $100. Pickle Palooza

The third annual St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade & Palooza kicks off at 9 a.m. with mile, 5k and 10k runs at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 500 E. Dallas St., followed by the Pickle Parade at 2 p.m. and the free Pickle Palooza immediately after the parade. Disco band Le Freak will headline the Palooza, which will also include food vendors, pickle eating contests, street dance and a free kids area. For more information, go to www.pickleparade.org.

The Wizard of Oz

Head to the Farr Best Theater to see the classic film “The Wizard of Oz” at 2 p.m. Admission is free, but donations to Feed the Kids for Summer will be accepte. The theater is located at 109 N. Main St.
