Pistons at Mavericks

6:30 p.m. Sunday, American Airlines Center, Dallas

TV: FSSW

Radio: ESPN/103.3 FM, KFLC/1270 AM (Spanish)

Records: Pistons 17-26, Mavs 25-20

About the Pistons: The hard-luck Pistons have lost seven of their last 10 games, including the past three at home to the Clippers (112-103), at Milwaukee (104-101) and Friday at home to New Orleans (103-101). … Detroit led the Pelicans by 16 points before succumbing, despite getting 21 points and 20 rebounds from Andre Drummond, and 28 points and seven assists from Brandon Jennings. … The Pistons are 2-4 in games decided by three points or less … The Pistons are just 2-14 against the West. They won at Sacramento (97-90) on Nov. 15 and beat Phoenix (110-108) on Jan. 11. … Jennings leads the way with 16.6 ppg and 8.2 apg.

About the Mavericks: This is the opener of a four-game homestand for the Mavs, who have criss-crossed their way across the country and Canada the past two weeks. … Only the Charlotte Bobcats have played more games this season than Dallas. … The Mavs are coming off a three-game road trip with a disappointing 1-2 record. That includes Friday’s 107-106 loss at Brooklyn and Wednesday’s 93-85 loss in Toronto when they blew a 21-point lead. … The Mavs are hoping to improve on their 14-7 home record. … Devin Harris had a breakout game against Brooklyn with 14 points and four assists while fouling out in only 16 minutes. The Mavs outrebounded the Nets 43-35 and will have to be at their rebounding best against the Pistons. … The Mavs are 11-6 against the East. — Dwain Price
