TCA athletes named to TCAF All-District, All-State teams

Trinity Christian Athletic Director Patti Hale was recently notified of the school’s Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship All-District and All-State selections for volleyball and football.

Numerous student athletes from TCA were recognized by the league. Hale said that “TCA is very proud of the accomplishments of these students both on and off the field.”

TCAF Division I - All-District Volleyball Honors:

First Team All-District: Brianna Ludwig, Sophomore; Hope Hale, Sophomore; Paityn Potter, Sophomore.

Second Team All -District: Alex Ross, Sophomore; Madi Spaulding, Senior; Erika Shazer, Sophomore.

Newcomer of the Year: Brianna Ludwig

TCAF Division I - All-State Volleyball Honors:

First Team All-State: Brianna Ludwig.

Second Team All-State: Hope Hale.

Honorable Mention All-State: Paityn Potter.

TCAF All-District Selections for Football:

Offense: Zach DeLaCruz, Senior 1st Team Wide Receiver; Payne Rowe, Senior 1st Team Wide Receiver; Geren Rangel, Senior 1st Team Spreadback; Wil Houston, Sophomore 1st Team Center; Daniel Wigley, Senior 1st Team Kicker; Luke Mauldin, Senior 2nd Team Wide Receiver; Kyle Lanier, Senior 2nd Team Spreadback.

Defense: Payne Rowe 1st Team Defensive Back; Daniel Wigley 1st Team Defensive Back; Blake Adams, Senior 1st Team Linebacker; Noah Capshaw, Senior 1st Team Lineman; Braxton Aldridge, Senior 2nd Team Lineman; Kyle Lanier, 2nd Team Linebacker; Luke Mauldin, 2nd Team Defensive Back.

Special Teams: Daniel Wigley, 1st Team Punter.
