Meet Kermit, a handsome kitten rescued from the shelter when only a few weeks old. He's been living with one of Parker Paws’ foster families until old enough for adoption. He's now healthy and ready for a forever home! He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, on flea prevention and is litterbox trained. The adoption fee is only $40. He's available for adoption at the Weatherford PetSmart. Please bring a cat carrier with you or plan to purchase one at the store. For their safety, all adopted cats must leave in a cat carrier.

Parker Paws thanks you for supporting its organization in 2013.

“We rescued just under 500 dogs and cats, providing them with vet care prior to placing for adoption,” a release stated. “Our pets stay in our volunteers' homes (or with Good Samaritans) until adopted.”

Contact them at 817-694-5718 to learn more about available pets. The adoptable cats are available for adoption at the Weatherford PetSmart (in the shopping center south of I-20 at exit 408) and they host weekly adoption events each Saturday at the same PetSmart from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Visit their website to learn more about their life-saving mission: www.ParkerPaws.org.

“We are proud of our service to the community and invite you to join us in helping even more dogs and cats in need in 2014. Happy New Year!”
