The U.S. Postal Service isn't the only organization that doesn't let the weather stop them.

The 28th Trophy Club Tour of Homes was held on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 3-6 p.m., with an after party at the town's Premier Academy.

"It was a great day. We estimate we sold about 400 tickets at $15 each," said Terri Lane, chairperson of the event for the Trophy Club Women's Club.

Thanks to the ice storm that hit North Texas in early December the tour was rescheduled. But Lane said it was still a huge success.

"Considering we had to postpone it a week, we didn't know what kind of response we'd get,” Lane said.

There also was a silent auction, a chance to win a golf cart and Grapevine Lincoln offered test drives of their cars. For each test drive, $20 was donated to the cause, Lane said.
