Monday morning quake rattles Parker County

Another 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck just outside of Azle early Monday, the 30th quake in North Texas since November.

Monday’s quake hit at 7:11 a.m.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 also struck northwest of Azle just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

No injuries were immediately reported.

For comparison, the strongest earthquake known to have occurred in Texas was a 5.8 in 1931 near Valentine in West Texas.
