About the Raptors: Toronto has won three of its past five games since trading Rudy Gay. ... Before that the Raptors won games on back-to-back nights at home against Philadelphia (108-100) last Friday and at Chicago (99-77) on Saturday. They also beat the Lakers in LA, 106-94, in Kobe Bryant’s first game back from an injury. ... Shooting guard DeMar DeRozan, who scored 20 points Wednesday, leads Toronto with 21.8 ppg. ... The Raptors are coached by former Mavericks assistant Dwane Casey.

About the Mavericks: This is the final game of a three-game homestand for the Mavs, who are 2-0 following wins against Milwaukee and Memphis. ... This also is the first leg of the Mavs’ eighth back-to-back of the season. They are 3-4 in these situations. ... Samuel Dalembert revived his season Wednesday when he came off the bench to record eight points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks in the 105-91 victory over the Bucks. He led a charge that saw the Mavs’ four centers produce 18 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks and three steals against Milwaukee. ... The Mavs are 10-2 this season when holding opponents under 100 points. The only losses were road games at Atlanta and Golden State when the Mavs held 17- and 18-point leads. ... In their seven games this month, the Mavs are holding foes to 96.6 points per game.
