The TCU women’s basketball team returns to action after one of its most complete performances in a 73-47 win over UT Pan American on Sunday at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.Junior guard Natalie Ventress has continued a hot streak after a slow start to the season, leading the Horned Frogs in scoring over the past three games. She put up 18 points thanks to a smooth 3-point touch against UTPA.Senior guard Renata Marquez leads Abilene Christian in scoring, averaging 13.7 points per game, as one of five starters who are averaging more than 10 points per game. Three freshmen see significant playing time for ACU, and all average at least 9.8 points per game.Wednesday’s game will mark the 10th meeting between the programs and the first since 1982. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 7-2, including a win in the most recent matchup.
