Keller ISD names Holiday Card winners

Carolers singing on a snowy night is the winning image in the Keller school district’s 2013 Holiday Card contest.

Raina Lyssy, a fourth-grader at Bluebonnet Elementary School, created the winning design. Her artwork will be featured on the front of the district’s holiday card, which is sent to community partners, KISD administrators and local dignitaries.

Runners up Sarah Choi, a third-grader at Eagle Ridge Elementary, and Olivia Hinthorn, a third-grader at Park Glen Elementary, will have their artwork displayed on the back of the card.

Art teachers from the district’s 22 elementary schools submitted the top entry from their campus. All the campus-winning artwork will be on display through Dec. 20 in the lobby of the Education Center, 350 Keller Pkwy.

Raina, Sarah and Olivia will be recognized at the Dec. 19 school board meeting.
