UT Arlington’s College Park Center will host a women’s basketball matchup between local rivals Wednesday as the Mavericks (0-7) square off with North Texas (3-4).

The Mavs dropped their most recent decision to Abilene Christian 79-72 at home last week, but senior forward Briana Walker finished with a career-high 32 points and 15 rebounds.

UTA has dropped nine straight games dating back to last season.

The Mean Green comes into the affair following a loss to No. 14 Oklahoma State on Sunday 95-47. UTA dropped its matchup with OSU 74-35 on November 10.

The Mavs won last year’s matchup against North Texas 59-50 and own a 21-20 lead in the all-time series, which began in 1977.
