Weatherford High School student Minden Miles signed an early decision letter of intent to attend TCU at a Nov. 14 signing ceremony at Lone Star Guns, Gallery & Gear in Weatherford.

Miles, who is also a member of the USA National Junior Rifle Team, has been shooting since junior high. Following campus visits to five universities throughout the nation, Miles chose TCU because of its proximity to Weatherford and its former accomplishments in air rifle competition.

Miles also acknowledged Lone Star Guns, Gallery & Gear General Manager Ronnie Harms for supporting the Parker County Shooting Sports Air Rifle Club through 4-H. Neal Stepp, who owns International Shooting Sport in North Richland Hills, has also supported Miles throughout her career with advice and encouragement.
