TCU welcomes Abilene Christian to Fort Worth for first time in over 50 years

TCU will play host to Abilene Christian in men’s basketball at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The meeting will be the first between the teams since 1956, with TCU holding a 15-0 lead over the Wildcats all-time.

The Horned Frogs and Wildcats first played in 1915 in Abilene, with TCU winning 16-2.

Tuesday’s game will be the first one for the Frogs since they lost to Longwood, 82-79 on Nov. 12.

Kyan Anderson and Brandon Parrish lead the Horned Frogs in scoring, averaging 13 points per game. Jarvis Ray averages 12 points per game.

Harrison Hawkins leads Abilene Christian with 12.8 points per game.

The Wildcats, in their first season in Division I, are coming off a 103-41 loss to Iowa.
