Fort Worth Temple Christian rolls past Garland Christian

Justin Carter rushed for 254 yards and a touchdown, as Fort Worth Temple Christian defeated Garland Christian 53-13 on Friday night, in a TAPPS Division III bi-district game.

Temple Christian will face Frisco Legacy Christian in the next round. Frisco Legacy beat Temple Christian, 13-3 earlier this season.

Carter scored on a 67-yard run on the first play of the game.

Garland Christian came back on its possession when Braxton Berry connected with Marcus Ketter on a 23-yard touchdown strike to tie the game 7-7.

But Temple Christian scored on a 10-yard run by Connor Moore and James Harrell scored on a 20-yard run, giving the Eagles a 20-7 lead, a lead they would never lose.

Chase Starling intercepted two passes, one he returned 85 yards for a touchdown.
