Parent Classes just around the corner, Nov. 18-19

Texas AgriLife Extension Service of Parker County will offer parenting classes Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 18 and 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Parker County Agricultural Services Center. The classes are $10 per person for the two-day class and will include lunch. Scholarships are available.

The parenting classes will use the curriculum “Parenting Connections.” The curriculum will cover: Child Growth and Development; Parent Child Communication; Positive Discipline; Managing Anger; and Developing Your Child’s Self Esteem. Also covered in the classes will be a presentation on Keeping Children Healthy, Food Safety and Shopping Strategies for Healthy Eating.
