The AARP Tax-Aide program is a volunteer organization that assists taxpayers with filing their Federal Income Tax Returns. More than 41,000 volunteers in the U.S. have been helping taxpayers for more than 40 years

Free training is provided for those willing to learn how to assist taxpayers by preparing tax returns, answering tax questions and filing tax returns electronically.

Volunteers attend local training classes and are certified by the Internal Revenue Service to provide assistance at no charge to the taxpayer. Assistance is provided at libraries, senior centers, recreation centers and other locations from Feb. 1 - April 15.

If you have computer skills and a desire to serve low to moderate income taxpayers, please volunteer at: www.aarp.org/money/

taxes/aarp_taxaide or contact Linda Whitehouse @ 817-360-6681 for more information.
