Saints quarterback Drew Brees: He completed 34 of 41 passes for 392 yards and four touchdowns before exiting the game late. He had a passer rating of 139.0 and completed passes to nine players.

Saints running backs Darren Sproles, Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram: Ingram led all rushers with 145 yards on 14 carries and one touchdown. Ingram had a long run of 34 yards. Pierre Thomas had 17 carries for 87 yards and one touchdown. Sproles caught seven passes for 76 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown on a screen play, and added five carries for 12 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown.

Saints wide receivers: Everyone got in on the action, but Marques Colston had the biggest impact with seven catches for 107 yards and a touchdown. Rookie Kenny Stills had three catches for 75 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown.

Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan: There had to be some revenge motives for the former Cowboys coordinator. His defense held the Cowboys to 193 total yards and added three sacks.

Cowboys punter Chris Jones: Jones was outstanding, averaging 50.4 yards on eight punts with four inside the 20. His longest was 56 yards.
