About the Mavs: This is the second leg of a back-to-back. It completes Dallas’ third back-to-back of the young season. ... Dallas is 1-1 on the second end of back-to-backs, beating Memphis last Saturday 111-99 and losing at Oklahoma City 107-93 on Wednesday. ... The Mavs have three more back-to-backs scheduled this month. ... In their last 14 games against Milwaukee, the Mavs are 9-5. Overall, the Mavs are just 7-24 all-time on the road against the Bucks. ... Drafted by the Bucks but traded to the Mavs on draft day in 1998, Dirk Nowitzki picked up his first career triple double on Feb. 6, 2008, when he had 29 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists against Milwaukee.

About the Bucks: Former Mavs guard O.J. Mayo scored a team-high 28 points during Wednesday’s 109-104 win over Cleveland, and former Spurs guard Gary Neal added 23 points. Mayo, who signed a three-year, $24 million free-agent contract with the Bucks over the summer, was 6 of 7 from 3-point range. ... Mayo leads the Bucks with 16.3 ppg and is 13th in the NBA in 3-point shooting at 56.3 percent. ... Neal is pumping in 15.3 ppg and shooting 53.3 percent from 3-point range, while Zaza Pachulia averages 13.3 ppg and eight rpg. ... Ersan Ilyasova is tied for sixth in the league in 3-point shooting at 60 percent and also averages 9.7 ppg.
