Kansas at No. 14 Oklahoma State (3 p.m. Saturday, Fox Sports 1): Last year, Kansas (2-6, 0-5 Big 12) kept its game against Oklahoma State (7-1, 4-1) close. The Cowboys hung on late for a 20-14 win. Don’t expect this year’s game to be within a score in the fourth quarter. Oklahoma State has a big game at Texas next weekend, but Cowboys coach Mike Gundy will make sure his team isn’t looking ahead. Oklahoma State should put Kansas away, which would give the Cowboys their fourth start of 8-1 or better in the past six seasons. Oklahoma State had four such starts in the previous 102 seasons, through 2007.

Kansas State at No. 25 Texas Tech (11 a.m. Saturday, WFAA/8): The Red Raiders (7-2, 4-2) have been knocked down by the state of Oklahoma. Back-to-back losses to Oklahoma (38-30) and Oklahoma State (52-34) have Texas Tech on the outside of the Big 12 championship race. The Red Raiders should play with plenty of emotion against Kansas State (4-4, 2-3), however. It’s the final home game for Texas Tech, which means the senior class will be honored. The team is also hosting a “Lone Survivor Game,” which will feature a paratrooper jump to deliver the American flag and the Purple Heart flag before kickoff. The team will honor more than 400 Purple Heart recipients at halftime, and the players will wear special uniforms that will be auctioned off after the game for Marcus Luttrell’s Lone Survivor Foundation.
