Colleyville

Nov. 6. Colleyville Garden Club meets, 10 a.m., at the Colleyville Center, 5301 Riverwalk Drive. Guest speaker is Fort Worth Cactus and Succulents Society President Bill Utley, speaking on the topic, “ Cactus and Succulents in Containers – Care and Cultivation.” For more information, visit colleyvillegardenclub.org.

Nov. 9. Holiday Extravaganza, an annual event with vendors, crafts, silent auctions, quilts, table runners, baked goods and more, is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Colleyville, 1000 Church Street. Grapevine

Nov. 9. The second annual city of Grapevine Veterans Day Parade and event takes place, 10 a.m. to noon, in Meadowmere Park, 3000 Meadowmere Lane. Includes the parade, bounce houses, hot dogs, s’mores, a junior angler event, kayaks, paddle boats, crafts and more. Participation and attendance is free. Registration to walk, march or ride in the parade is open at grapevineveteransparade.org.

Nov. 9. Grapevine Elementary School, 1801 Hall-Johnson Road, hosts its Carnival of the Stars, 2-5 p.m., with carnival good, booths, bounce houses, a zip line and more. Raffle tickets for a chance to win an iPad minis.

Southlake

Nov. 6-10. The Carroll Theatre Department presents Les Miserables, Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Carroll Theatre Auditorium at Carroll Senior High School, 1501 W. Southlake Blvd. Tickets and show times are available at www.dragondrama.net.
