Six people were injured Sunday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident on an Interstate 35W service road, according to police and MedStar.

Five of them were taken to Fort Worth hospitals; one was treated at the scene.

The wreck was reported about 12:45 p.m. Sunday in the 12000 block of the southbound service road of Interstate 35W near Rendon Crowley Road.

The vehicle was traveling south on the service road when the motorist lost control, causing it to flip over, authorities said. Preliminary reports indicated that one person was thrown out of the vehicle as it rolled over, MedStar said.
