Tasteless disrespect

Last Saturday I attended the University of Texas-TCU game in Fort Worth.

I think I know why the good Lord sent the storm he did.

While I don't know the history behind the “C” in TCU, I do know a few of the following were uncalled-for and could have resulted in the storm:

When the opening prayer was given on the sound system, it was drowned out by the TCU student section. I felt that was very disrespectful.

When the national anthem was played, it was nearly drowned out by the TCU student section.

Last but not least, the TCU camera crew put a TCU student on the big screen holding a sign that said: “Mack Brown Loves Oral.” Was that really necessary?

All three of these things happened in the first 15 minutes of a great Big 12 game.

While this may not be the standard for all of TCU, I just thought it really shined badly for many in the stadium.
