A teenage boy who was apparently shot at an apartment complex was found early Wednesday near an Arlington grocery store, police said.

The teen was taken to Medical Center of Arlington, where his condition was unknown Wednesday morning, but police believe that his wound was not life-threatening.

Arlington police responded to a shooting call about 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of E. Arkansas Lane.

Officers, however, found the victim near the Fiesta Mart in the 1300 block of E. Pioneer Parkway, west of Texas 360. Police said he is 16 years old, although local TV reports said he is 15.

Detectives continued Wednesday to sort out information in the case.

One person was in custody in connection with the shooting, NBCDFW.com reported.
