Police are searching for a robber and his get-away driver in connection with the hold-up Tuesday of a north Fort Worth bank.

The robbery occurred about 11:45 a.m. at the Legend Bank at 3001 Western Center Blvd. in north Fort Worth.

According to police, the robber demanded money and implied that he had a gun, though no weapon was ever seen.

He fled the bank and was seen getting into a tan Oldsmobile Alero driven by a second man.

The robber is described as black, in his 20s, and approximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7-inches tall and 160 pounds. He had on what appeared to be a black, dreadlocks wig covered by a blue baseball hat. He wore black wrap around sunglasses, a blue T-shirt and blue jeans and black gloves.

The get-away driver was only described as a black male with a “large build.”

Anyone with information about the suspects’ identities is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS (8477) or the robbery unit at 817-392-4370.
